Job summary

Centria Autism's Life Skills Autism Academy in Allen, TX is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy to young children in a center setting. You will provide direct 1:1 and small-group instruction, collect data, and support treatment plans created by BCBA/BC, while maintaining a positive, safe learning environment.

The role requires RBT certification or willingness to obtain it, background check participation, and a Monday–Friday schedule with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete 40-hour training and pass competency within 45 days.
• Willing to participate in background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation to work in Allen, TX.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a TB test annually.
• Physically capable of floor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and quick movement if needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to record data accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication; culturally competent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC and document progress data.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client behavior data.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and adherence to procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work/therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
