Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician for a full-time, in-center role in Allen, TX. You will provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, following individualized treatment plans and collecting data to support progress.

Training and supervision hours are available through practicum programs. You will collaborate with BCBA/BC, document and report outcomes, and support families through caregiver training while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete a 40-hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a TB test annually.
• Must be physically capable to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with recording data on mobile devices and using digital apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with intensive teaching.
• Follow treatment plans designed by BCBA/BC
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting.
• Communicate progress to parents as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized therapy environment.
• Assist with materials preparation and behavior assessments.
