Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under supervision. A current BACB RBT certification or completion of a 40-hour ABA course with the exam within 45 days is required.

Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, full-time, center-based.

Qualifications

Must have High School Diploma or GED.
Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Must be able to physically perform job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Must pass background check if offered employment.
Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using a mix of intensive teaching and natural environment training.
Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client plans.
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Communicate progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work/therapy environment.
Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
