Job summary

Partners in Excellence in Burnsville, MN is seeking an Occupational Therapist Registered and Licensed (OTR/L) to manage a caseload of pediatric and possibly adult clients, applying evidence-based, person-centered OT to develop, implement and coordinate therapy plans. The role includes screening, evaluation, and direct or consultative treatment to help clients gain functional skills.

The OTR/L will document services in a timely manner, work with a treatment team, follow HIPAA and facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• OTR/L Certification and MDH/National Board credentials.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a team.
• Strong written documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Document therapy services accurately and timely.
• Provide screenings, evaluations and direct therapy to clients.
• Coordinate and complete client assessments and treatment plans.
• Follow AOTA guidelines and facility policies in OT delivery.
• Maintain professionalism and collaborate with the treatment team.
