Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Center-Based Behavior Technician team in Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while prioritizing safety and compassion. The role includes training provided and a pay range of $19-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Support safety and welfare of clients during activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
