Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon seeks Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behaviour intervention plans under BCBA supervision.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and positive behavior support.

Comprehensive training is provided; the role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborative teamwork. Pay range: $19-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid and TB test.
• Background check clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to adjust interventions as needed.
• Assist children with movement and daily activities safely.
