Job summary

Centria Autism Center in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. You should be patient, compassionate, able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and enjoy teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child development.
