Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $16 - $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism is stated as a core attribute.
• Willingness to work with children in a team setting.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test if not up to date.
• Must pass preemployment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with teaching communication, social and daily living skills.
• Be physically able to stand, walk, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.

Education
