Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work well in a team. Pay: $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing ABA plans.
• Use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to reduce interfering behaviors.
