Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance. You will teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism and patient.
Team player and able to work well with others.
18 years or older; high school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
Pass background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting independence.
Collaborate with a team to monitor progress and adapt plans as needed.
