Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child, even if you lack prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test (within the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
