Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and a collaborative team environment, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour. Candidates should be patient, reliable, and able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain).
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors.
• Join a dedicated team and participate in training and development.
