Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while ensuring safety and engagement.

The role offers comprehensive training, a collaborative team, and opportunities to grow within the ABA field. You may be standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, kneel, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Help maintain safety and support during activities with children.
