Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Assist with data collection and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment and adapt activities as needed.
• Participate in training and collaborate with the team to support each child.
