Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to work as Behavior Technicians. You will support children with autism by implementing tailored behavior plans, teaching communication, social and daily living skills, and reducing challenging behaviors under a BCBA's guidance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patience, and compassion. Training is provided, and the job involves physically active tasks supporting children up to 50 pounds. A competitive pay range is offered.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working as a Behavioral Technician or with children with autism is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Contribute to a safe and supportive team environment.
