Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, emphasize teamwork, and value patience and compassion. The job includes physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Provide comprehensive training to equip you to help each child.
