Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians who will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, with comprehensive training provided; you should be comfortable standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Provide patient, compassionate support in a team environment.
