Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team in Norfolk, VA, full-time or part-time. You'll work with a multi-tiered clinical team, use advanced data collection and charting tools, and have access to monthly CEUs and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral analysis, education, psychology, or a related field.
• Current BCBA license (or sitting for exam in next 3 months—students welcome).
• Demonstrated skills implementing ABA with children on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to administer and interpret a variety of clinical assessments.
• Excellent clinical competence and judgment.
• Commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the implementation of targeted interventions that change lives of children with autism.
• Share in the achievements of clients as they develop positive behaviors and learn new skills.
• Provide support during family conversations to ensure understanding of assessment results and treatment recommendations.
• Advocate for clients by monitoring potential issues and communicating concerns.
• Share knowledge through supervision, support, training, and orientation of our growing team of behavioral technicians.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions; ability to stand, bend, lift 25+ pounds, run, and move with children aged 2–15.
