Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Center-Based BCBA in San Jose to lead clinical care for children with autism using assent-based ABA. You will work with families, technicians, and leadership in a structured, supportive setting designed to reduce burnout and promote high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field.
• Current BCBA certification in good standing (required).
• Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license (required, where applicable).
• Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience with autism/developmental disabilities.
• Experience conducting FBAs, writing BIPs, and supervising clinical staff.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and develop data-driven BIPs.
• Utilize Vineland-3 and other standardized tools.
• Provide center-based ABA services to children with autism.
• Collect, analyze, and monitor behavioral data to guide treatment.
• Supervise and coach Behavior Technicians and RBTs.
• Partner with caregivers through training and collaboration.
• Deliver crisis prevention and intervention when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Mentor Associate Clinical Supervisors or supervision-hour candidates.
