Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Home & Community-Based BCBA in San Fernando, CA. This full-time role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, and supervision in natural environments for children and families.

You will partner with families and technicians to deliver ethical, child-centered ABA, emphasizing assent-based care, mentorship, and sustained growth opportunities within a supportive leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field required.
• Current BCBA certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years ABA experience preferred.
• Experience conducting FBAs and writing BIPs.
• Ability to travel locally to home and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Utilize Vineland-3 and other standardized tools for assessments.
• Provide ABA services in home and community settings.
• Collect, monitor, and analyze behavioral data to guide clinical decisions.
• Coach and mentor technicians and supervise RBTs/Behavior Technicians.
• Deliver caregiver training to promote skill generalization across environments.
• Implement proactive behavior support and crisis prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners as needed.
• Participate in clinical meetings, trainings, and ongoing education.
