Job summary

Centria Autism seeks Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Location: Farmington Hills, MI. Pay range: $17 - $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test within a year.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Maintain safety and support families, document outcomes.
