Job summary

Centria Autism in Taylor, MI is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and value patient, compassionate team members. The role requires physicality to assist children up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and a TB test.
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
