Centria is hiring Center-Based Registered Behavior Technicians in Grand Rapids, MI to work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision. Qualifications

• Patience in working with children with autism
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED is typically required
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds as required
• Comfortstanding, walking and positioning children during activities

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based methods
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors
• Collaborate with a team to support children and their families
• Assist with daily activities and ensure child safety during sessions
