Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers in Ohio is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2-12. You will implement skill acquisition plans, collect data, and coordinate with families under the supervision of a BCBA.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RBT certification or obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift and restrain/transport and support children as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ABA or working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data, and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding progress under BCBA guidance.
• Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and acquire functional knowledge by attending required trainings.
• Follow BACB guidelines.
• Work toward becoming an RBT if not already.
