Job summary

Bierman Autism Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide life-changing ABA therapy to children aged 2-12 in center-based settings. You will work 1:1 with clients, follow behavior support plans, collect data, and collaborate with families under a BCBA’s guidance.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift and carry clients who weigh at least 30 pounds.
• Must be willing to restrain/hold/transport and perform quick body movements as needed.
• Able to kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, sit, stand, bend for extended periods.
• Able to walk/run to chase clients and maintain 3-foot distance.
• Must attend to basic needs and document data during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 therapy with clients.
• Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record data and write therapy notes for each session.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers under BCBA guidance.
• Assist BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
• Maintain and update knowledge through required trainings.
• Support BACB guidelines and pursue RBT certification if not already.
