Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for the in-center ABA program. The position is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm, with a pay range of $18-$20 per hour depending on education and experience.

Benefits include PTO, a capped pay plan, tuition discounts, and early wage access. Responsibilities include 1:1 and group caregiving, data collection, progress reporting to BCBA/BC, and training families.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Willing to participate in background check.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a TB test annually.
• Able to perform physical tasks (on-the-floor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, quick movement).
• Strong attention to detail with repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Tech-savvy to record data on mobile devices and use digital apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with intensive teaching.
• Follow BEHAVIORAL protocols per client treatment plan by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client behavior data.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting procedures.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Use safe procedures and report critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
