Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance, focusing on communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

Typical duties include frequent movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ensuring safety during interactions; a pathway to growth in behavioral analysis exists.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and a collaborative team member.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; background check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and intervene to reduce interfering behaviors.
