Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, assist in funeral service tasks, and ensure safety and operations at the location. The role requires hands-on landscape work and reliable equipment handling in a cemetery setting.

The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience, strong organizational and customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure safety and reliability.
• Assist with all funeral services related tasks as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones as required.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Perform snow removal when applicable.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
