Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a reliable Cemetery Groundskeeper to oversee the care, maintenance, and safety of the cemetery property. You will perform landscape duties, maintain equipment, and support funeral services as needed.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, a High School equivalency, and a valid driver’s license. You will work under the Grounds Superintendent and contribute to a respectful, well-maintained site for visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Care, maintenance, and repairs of the property.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and visitors.
• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weeding, mowing, etc.).
• Maintain equipment and assist in equipment upkeep.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist as needed.
• Install headstones or memorials as required.
• Handle day-to-day maintenance tasks and snow removal if applicable.
