Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to care for the cemetery grounds and facilities. You will perform routine landscape maintenance, operate equipment, and support funeral services with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, read directives, and work holidays or weekends as needed. A valid driver’s license and maintenance experience are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and follow memos/directives from supervisor.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Lift up to 80 lbs; valid state driver's license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment and machinery.
• Handle functions related to funeral services as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist with installation.
• Install headstones or memorials as required.
• Manage day-to-day general maintenance tasks.
• Provide snow removal when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
