Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery grounds, perform repairs, and ensure safety for staff and visitors. You will operate maintenance equipment, install vaults and headstones, and support daily property upkeep with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service. The role includes some holidays, evenings, and weekends with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency is required.
• 2+ years in maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor/management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Care, maintenance, and repairs of cemetery property.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and visitors.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Install or assist in installing cemetery vaults and headstones/memorials.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Perform snow removal when applicable.
• Follow directions from Grounds Superintendent and perform other duties as assigned.
