Job summary

Everstory Partners seeks a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead our grounds and laborer team, ensuring safe, pristine locations for families and visitors. You will drive maintenance, safety, and operations across properties, partnering with location staff to meet current and future needs.

This role requires 3+ years supervisory grounds experience, 5+ years maintenance, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
• Cemetery work experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery including backhoe and mowing/trimming equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid state drivers license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Grounds and Laborer workers at a location.
• Ensure the safety of all patrons, visitors and employees.
• Manage maintenance of buildings, fixtures, equipment, and operations across properties.
• Lead and train the maintenance team; provide ongoing coaching.
• Coordinate with location Sales and Administration on current and future needs.
• Perform landscape maintenance duties (weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.).
• Operate maintenance machinery safely.
• Install cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials as needed.
