Job summary

Everstory Partners in Harrisburg is seeking a grounds maintenance supervisor to lead a team responsible for the care, upkeep, and safety of our location. You will oversee maintenance operations and collaborate with sales and admin to anticipate needs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience with cemetery-related tasks. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work some holidays are needed.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
• Cemetery work experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patrons, visitors and employees at the location.
• Maintain and improve Everstory properties, buildings and fixtures.
• Manage maintenance team members to perform maintenance tasks.
• Provide maintenance team support and training as needed.
• Enforce company policies and coach staff as required.
• Coordinate with Sales and Administration to address location needs.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks like weed-whacking and mowing.
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment safely.
• Install cemetery vaults, headstones and memorials as needed.
