Job summary

Everstory Partners is hiring a Maintenance Superintendent to supervise Grounds and Laborer workers. You will ensure safety, oversee maintenance of all properties, supervise and train the team, and coordinate with sales/administration to meet location needs.

The role requires strong organizational and customer-service skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, operate heavy equipment, and perform cemetery-related installations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
• Cemetery work experience is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment including backhoe and mowing/trimming equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid state driver's license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• supervise the Grounds and Laborer workers at a location and oversee care, maintenance, safety and security.
• Ensure maintenance and improvements of all properties, buildings, and fixtures.
• Manage maintenance team members and provide ongoing training.
• Enforce company policies and coach subordinates.
• Coordinate with location Sales and Administration on needs.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Operate machinery safely and appropriately.
• Install cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials as needed.
