Job summary

Catholic Cemeteries Association is seeking a Field Laborer to mow, trim, and maintain cemetery grounds and perform related field duties under supervision. Responsibilities include snow removal and general landscaping across Northeast Ohio, with travel to different cemeteries as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, and experience in groundskeeping, lawn care, or landscaping is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 6 months of related groundskeeping or landscape experience.
• Ability to operate or learn heavy equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare graves and maintain cemetery grounds daily.
• Perform snow removal and general landscaping tasks.
• Operate a range of equipment including mowers, backhoe, dump truck, and tractor.
• Assist with burial site setup, including tents, chairs, and earthwork.
• Maintain safety and keep facilities clean and orderly.
