Job summary

The Catholic Cemeteries Association at St. Joseph Cemetery seeks a Field Laborer to mow, trim, and maintain cemetery grounds, and assist with burial services as directed by supervision. Responsibilities include snow removal, landscaping, and equipment operation under safety guidelines.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 6 months of related experience; CDL and OSHA 10 are preferred. Hours are typically Monday–Saturday, hourly, non‑exempt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• 6 months or more related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Prepares graves and maintains cemetery grounds.
• Performs snow removal.
• Mows, trims, and maintains landscaping and grounds.
• Operates equipment (mowers, trimmers, backhoe, dump truck, tractor, etc.).
• Ensures safety policies and guidelines are followed.
