Job summary

Quikrete – Cement in Calera, AL seeks a Quality Manager responsible for ensuring cement products meet plant, customer, industry, and government requirements. You will coordinate production and sales to maintain inventories, oversee testing to established standards, report on quality, and certify final products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field and at least three years in cement or related industries; leadership of QC teams and implementing laboratory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Three (3) years' experience in a cement or related industry or an appropriate combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Promote safety practices and plant-wide safety initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production to maintain product inventories and ensure quality.
• Lead and train QC staff to meet customer expectations and industry standards.
• Perform statistical analysis of quality data and reporting results.
