Cemex US is seeking a Manager Quality Control for cement production to lead QC programs at the Demopolis plant. You will coordinate quality control activities, analyze data, maintain specifications, and work with production and other managers to optimize reliability and costs. The role demands strong supervision and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent four-year program.
• 5-10 years cement experience preferred, process Eng or lab work.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Directs QC program to ensure product quality aligns with standards.
• Analyzes data and specifications to set quality objectives.
• Coordinates with production to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Oversees inspection and testing to control materials and finished goods.
• Plans training related to product quality and reliability.
• Adheres to safety rules and uses PPE as required.
• Investigates customer complaints to preserve relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
