Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. in Calera, AL is seeking a Quality Manager to ensure cement products meet plant, customer, industry and government standards. You will coordinate production and sales to maintain inventories and lead testing per established standards.

You will mentor QC staff, drive safety and environmental practices, and implement laboratory standards and procedures supporting cement manufacture and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years’ cement or related industry experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cement products meet plant, customer, industry and government requirements.
• Lead testing per established standards and certify final products.
• Direct daily activities of QC staff and coordinate with Production to maintain inventories.
• Develop and implement laboratory standards, production targets and procedures.
