Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. You will perform inspection, preventive maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems, troubleshoot plant equipment and support safety initiatives.

The role may include rotating shifts and weekend work to keep operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of industrial millwright experience, a High School diploma/GED, and two years of technical college is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years industrial experience as a millwright is required.
• High School diploma or GED; two years technical college in a related subject preferred.
• Experience with rebuilding gear boxes, shaft alignment on heavy industrial equipment, and bearing installation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains mechanical systems throughout the plant and performs inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborates with contractor personnel to ensure quality, safety and productivity.
• Participates in training and cross-training programs to broaden technical and non-technical skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
