Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Coordinator for the Sparrows Point Cement Plant in MD. You will coordinate daily production operations, ensure environmental, safety, quality and budget targets are met, and optimize daily productivity.

Responsibilities include coordinating plant systems, materials flow, and shipments; working with Maintenance on outages; guiding safety training; and reporting production metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in the industry.
• Must have computer skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operation of the production department to meet safety, quality, budget and production targets.
• Coordinate activities across raw mill, silo, kiln, and cement shipments to meet inventory requirements.
• Meet daily with other departments to align production efforts.
• Troubleshoot and minimize downtime in cooperation with Maintenance.
• Plan and schedule outages with Maintenance Coordinator.
• Develop and implement department operating procedures and checklists.
• Establish spare parts and inventory stocking levels with Store and Purchasing.
• Ensure safety equipment training and usage across production teams.
• Develop and follow safety and emergency procedures; investigate accidents.
