Job summary

Amrize’s Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama is seeking a Production Coordinator CEM to coordinate daily production operations ensuring safety, quality and budget targets are met. You will work with multiple departments to optimize equipment and processes while maintaining strong safety practices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience, plus at least 3 years of supervisory work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in the industry.
• Must have computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operation of the production department to meet environmental, safety, quality, budget and production targets.
• Coordinate services including raw materials and fuel receiving, inventory control, and cement shipping when needed.
• Meet daily with other departments to coordinate efforts throughout the plant.
• Troubleshoot problems with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Plan and schedule outages with Maintenance Coordinator.
• Evaluate direct reports and develop improvement plans as required.
• Maintain spare parts and inventory stocking levels with Store and Purchasing.
• Ensure safety equipment training and PPE usage across teams.
• Develop safety and emergency procedures and follow up on their use.
• Report and investigate accidents and generate production data and diaries.
• Assist in development of checklists and standard operating procedures for equipment.
