Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Midlothian Cement Plant in TX to lead production activities and a team of technicians and operators. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and quality control across plant processes.

The supervisor will manage subcontractors on special projects, oversee trainings, and cooperate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure timely, compliant production and data-based decision making.

Qualifications

• The Production Supervisor is responsible for all production activities at the plant.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• This position will supervise primarily subcontractors working on special projects and cleaning initiatives around the plant.
• Maintain continual observation of operation of all the various processes through recordings and indications of the control system, monitors and visual observation when necessary.
• Supervise process and hourly employees and work closely with lab technicians.
• Ensure that quality and environmental standards are met.
• Assure that a consistent quality product is being produced through interaction with the quality control department and through the review of laboratory test results on raw meal, clinker and cement.
• Take corrective action as necessary. Report and recommend solutions for production problem areas.
• Assure the regular inspection and evaluation of all operating equipment to help maintain production requirements.
• Work closely with maintenance and other supports teams.
• Use SAP system to issue work and material requisitions, hourly employee time entry and other required system information.
