Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Technician at our Midlothian cement plant in TX. You will help keep raw grinding, finish grinding, blending, and kiln processes in proper operating condition, performing inspections, minor repairs, and equipment operation. Emphasis on safety, PPE usage, and clean, efficient material flow is essential.

You will support maintenance teams, monitor feed rates, and assist with area cleanliness while upholding Amrize safety and environmental policies across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements as per Amrize standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials flow from storage to grinding mills, blending silos and kiln.
• Perform regular visual inspections of equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Lubricate compressors, pumps and gears; monitor lubrication systems.
• Assist maintenance and repair personnel in equipment repairs.
• Maintain clean work areas and operate auxiliary equipment when needed.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
