Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Supervisor at the Midlothian Cement Plant in Texas to lead the plant's daily production activities. You will oversee a team of Production Technicians and Control Room Operators, ensuring safety, efficiency and environmental compliance while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

You will use SAP to issue work, manage material requisitions, and time entry, and you may supervise subcontractors on special projects and cleaning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production teams in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of safety policies and compliance.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to safety in all work environments and areas.
• Supervise subcontractors on special projects and cleaning initiatives around the plant.
• Train crew and ensure refresher trainings are conducted.
• Monitor operation of processes via control system recordings; observe and intervene as needed.
• Supervise process and hourly employees and coordinate with lab technicians.
• Ensure quality and environmental standards are met and product quality is consistent.
• Take corrective actions and report production issues with suggested solutions.
• Inspect operating equipment regularly to maintain production needs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and other support teams.
• Use SAP to issue work and material requisitions and track employee timeentry.
