Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations in the Sparrows Point, MD plant, coordinating plant systems and ensuring safety, quality and schedule targets are met. The role emphasizes teamwork across departments and hands-on involvement in production planning and problem solving.

The candidate will work with Maintenance and Operations to optimize performance, manage outages, and develop training plans while maintaining safety compliance and reporting on production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in the industry.
• Must have computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly coordinates the activities of all production systems at the plant to meet marketing and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate activities related to raw materials and fuel receiving, inventory control and finish grinding and cement shipping (truck, rail and barge).
• Meet daily with other departments to coordinate efforts throughout the plant.
• Troubleshoot problems with Maintenance to minimize downtime and repair quickly.
• Plan and schedule major and minor outages with Maintenance Coordinator.
• Assist in development and implementation of equipment checklists and operating procedures.
