Ash Grove Cement is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical systems in our cement plant. Under general supervision, you will focus on preventive and corrective maintenance of kilns, mills, and material-handling systems.

This role requires completion of the Maintenance Trainee program or equivalent experience; safety is a priority, with strong emphasis on reducing downtime and ensuring safe operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand safety labels, instructions, and signs.
• Experience with rigging, millwright practices, basic fabrication, and proper use of tools is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Independently perform routine maintenance inspections, basic fabrication, mechanical troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment (e.g., pumps, bulk transport equipment, and rotating equipment).
• Repair and maintain all existing mechanical equipment and facilities; ensure proper lubrication.
• Install or assist with installation of new plant equipment and facilities, including major maintenance and capital projects.
• Inspect equipment and identify defects; determine timing for repairs to reduce failure risk and report findings to supervisor.
• Operate plant and mobile equipment as needed to complete maintenance tasks.
