Job summary

Amrize has immediate openings for a Laborer at its Theodore, AL Cement Plant. The role involves cleaning, inspections, and operating various equipment to maintain plant operations. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a valid driver’s license is needed along with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements including respirator use.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good understanding of basic cement manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean up and housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform inspections and checklists on work areas.
• Operate small to mid-sized mobile equipment (skid steer, sweeper, water truck, vac-truck, etc.).
• Fill in vacancies within different areas of the plant.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.
