Amrize is seeking a Production Manager CEM for the Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama. The role leads the production department to meet safety, environmental, and quality objectives while delivering budgeted output.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Science or Engineering, 7+ years cement plant experience, and strong leadership and safety credentials. Travel ~10% is required; SAP, Word, and Excel skills are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of cement plant experience including exposure to all functional areas within a cement plant.
• Strong commitment to safety and safety program experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of industrial equipment and processes.

Mansioni

• Manage the plant's production function.
• Ensure that the plant produces the required quantity of quality products.
• Direct the effective and efficient use of plant production equipment and people.
• Provide leadership to department employees by directing, coaching, supporting and delegating as the situation requires.
• Assist plant management in anticipating future needs of the plant including input into 3-year improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain a technically advanced and safety conscious team.
• Establish annual department and personal objectives aligned with plant goals and conduct mid-year and annual reviews.
• Maintain working relationship with other departments, CIP and Regional Management for smooth operation.
• Plan, budget, forecast monthly, and report department effectiveness; safeguard assets and ensure environmental compliance.
• Meet or exceed production volumes budget and production costs within budget.
• Procurement and inventory tracking of raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor equipment performance and reliability; ensure on-time maintenance and budgeting.
• Foster a highly motivated workforce and a positive work environment.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
