Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Production Coordinator at the Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama.

You will coordinate the daily operation of the production department, ensuring environmental, safety, quality, budget and production targets are met while optimizing daily performance. Responsibilities include supervising production systems from raw mill to cement shipments, collaborating with maintenance, planning outages, and developing safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in the industry.
• Must have leadership capabilities.
• Must have computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Directly coordinates the activities of all production systems at the plant including raw mill, homogenizing silo, proclaimer, kiln, cooler, clinker silo, finish mill, and cement shipments to meet marketing and inventory requirements.
• In the absence of a Distribution Coordinator, coordinate activities related to all services including raw materials and fuel receiving, inventory control and finish grinding and cement shipping (truck, rail and barge).
• Meet daily with other departments to coordinate efforts throughout the plant.
• Troubleshoot problems in the department and in cooperation with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Plan and schedule major and minor outages with Maintenance Coordinators.
• Develop improvement plans by evaluating performance of direct reports.
• Collaborate with Store and Purchasing to maintain spare parts and inventory levels.
• Ensure safety equipment training and procedure adherence across production teams.
